Beratit, 2021
The castel of Berat (Beratit) it’s a small, fortified citadel overlooking the town, located in the southern part of Albania. The castle is situated on a hill on the left bank of the river Osum, it was mainly built in XIII sec. Inside the fortess there were twenty Byzantine churches and an ottoman mosque, some of them can still be visited today.
